WHAT MAKE IT THE BEST?
There’s Two Key Differences Making James Hardie Fiber-Cement Siding the Best In The Business
‘ULTRA-STRENGTH CELLULOSE FIBER’
Hardie Fiber-Cement Siding uses specially grown cellulose fibers to stand up to Florida’s nastiest weather.
- The microscopic fiber strands are woven in to bridge micro-gaps that cement leaves behind
- This advanced fiber network gives extra strength and impact resistance over vinyl, stucco, and painted wood
- It’s the secret behind Hardie’s siding that keeps it firmly in place through 150mph hurricane winds
‘COLORPLUS® TECHNOLOGY’
Which is a “baked on” color (and protective) finishing process. It’s like the icing on the extra-strength, fiber-cement cake.
- Fiber-cement substrate is triple-heated between color coatings for firmer bonding
- The boards’ edges are sealed off so no water (or anything else) gets inside
- The siding is now shielded to shrug off torrential water, UV, rot, and fire
- It creates cleaner lines for a low-maintenance finish that lasts for decades

The Difference Between a Quick, Cheap Job and
Premium Siding That Lasts
Anyone can say they install Hardie.
Most skip steps, rush jobs, or send out random crews with no real experience of Hardie materials. But here’s the Holeman ‘Elite Preferred Contractor’ difference:
The “Cheap Option”
- Take the “easy option” by installing new siding over old damage
- Skips essential moisture barrier or fit non-approved barriers to save cash
- No Hardie manufacturer certification with improper training on their products
- Improper methods end up leaving gaps, overtightening nails, or spacing incorrectly – risks voiding the 30-year Hardie warranty
- You’ll save cash now, but pay for their mistakes in 3-5 years

- Full tear-off to inspect structural strength to ensure it won’t fall apart in a few years
- Installs Hardie-approved wrap and flashing for real protection
- James Hardie pro-trained in-house crew instead of 3rd party labor
- Follows the James Hardie playbook so your manufacturer warranty stays valid for 30 years
- One professional job with beautiful siding that protects your home for decades

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
“Is fiber‑cement expensive?”
It’s an investment that often saves thousands over time: fewer repairs, no repaint every few years, and resale value.
According to Zillow, upgrading your house siding sits at #5 on their list of ‘top home improvement projects’. The ROI recoups 75.6% of investment. Making it a great home project — whether you’re planning to sell, or fortifying your “forever home”.
But the numbers go even deeper when considering the proven durability of Hardie Board siding… something Zillow missed out on!
Costs will vary depending on the size of your home, location, materials used, and design selection. Financing options are available to keep cash flow comfortable.

“What are the main benefits of fiber-cement siding?”
Fiber-cement is revolutionary because of its longevity and quality over traditional wood siding. It’s water resistant and doesn’t attract pests, reducing the need for ongoing repair. It’s even non-combustible and fire resistant.
With the addition of the innovative ColorPlus Technology finishes, it better maintains color and resists fading. The durability and versatility of fiber-cement siding make it a cost-effective and stylish option for any home, because it increases the curb appeal of your home and catches the eyes of folks driving past.
Siding also helps with energy conservation and temperature regulation. Plus, it can reduce outside noise by up to 45%!
“What are the EXACT ingredients in Hardie siding?”
Hardie siding is made of fiber-cement which is made up of a few simple ingredients: sand, water, ultra-strength cellulose fibers, and Portland cement, which is a mixture of limestone, clay, and gypsum.
“What is the difference between vinyl and fiber-cement siding?”
Hardie board siding is resistant to warping, melting, and burning in high heat conditions. It is also flame retardant, and more environmentally sustainable. Fiber-cement siding is also impervious to rotting and termites.
Vinyl siding is more budget-friendly and lightweight, and will struggle in most areas where fiber-cement stands tall.
While fiber-cement is denser, it will not become brittle or wear down over time. Fiber-cement is also better for wood imitation as it is thicker.
“Will it really handle big storms?”
Hardie Fiber-Cement siding is Miami‑Dade approved and engineered for 150mph wind loads when installed to spec. It doesn’t swell with water or peel apart after days of rain. That’s why more and more American homes are turning to fiber-cement.
“What about termites, rot, or even woodpeckers? Will they make it crack or fade over time?”
We provide only the highest quality in siding options.
James Hardie siding is designed to be resistant to cracking and fading thanks to its ultra-strength cellulose fiber and ColorPlus design. And it’s installed “by-the-book” to prevent trapped moisture and reduce rotting conditions. Also, Hardie boards ColorPlus options come with a pre-painted baked-on finish, making it resistant to cracking, chipping, or peeling.
Plus, fiber‑cement isn’t organic… there’s nothing to eat. So it won’t rot, warp, or invite pests. It’s also non‑combustible, adding a safety layer wood and vinyl can’t.
"How do I take care of my siding after it is installed?”
All of our siding is extremely low maintenance. All HardiePlank comes standard with a 30-year limited warranty. Periodic washing of your home’s exterior to remove dirt, mildew, or any other debris is all that should be required to keep your exterior looking beautiful for years to come.

Any average Joe can install exterior siding like James Hardie Board or vinyl siding. But an experienced professional company is needed for precision installation.
No doubt you have seen:

“What guarantee do I get with Holeman Inc.?”
All Hardie fiber-cement products come with a 30-year, non-prorated warranty.
ColorPlus Technology finishes come with a 15-year limited warranty that covers paint and labor, protecting against peeling, cracking, and chipping.
And The Holeman Inc. Workmanship Warranty comes with our James Hardie ‘Elite Partner’ status on all our installs, unlocking full manufacturer warranty coverage, (which is NOT guaranteed with unofficial 3rd party contractors.)
Simply put, if anything needs replacing in the 30/15 year timeframe, then get in touch ASAP before the issue escalates.
“What is ColorPlus Technology, and how does it work?”
ColorPlus is a unique curing process which gives fiber-cement siding its Hercules-level strength.
While all Hardie siding is available primed and ready for painting, ColorPlus Technology finishes are cured onto the boards during the manufacturing process. This eliminates debris and the environmental factors mid-project that often lead to chipping, bubbling, or cracking.
Traditional vinyl siding and paint both fade in the sun, but ColorPlus Technology finishes are UV-resistant and maintain their vibrant color for years, even with the Florida sun beating down on it. Which means you’re getting a product which is built stronger and stands the test of time.
“How do ColorPlus Technology finishes differ from traditional paint?”
Paint and other siding finishes applied in the field dull over time. ColorPlus Technology finishes are specifically engineered to resist damaging UV rays, keeping your siding’s color vibrant for longer.
With ColorPlus Technology finishes, your siding will look great without constant maintenance.
When you invest in ColorPlus Technology finishes, you won’t only get gorgeous color… you’ll get color that lasts for years longer than a typical paint job.
“Can ColorPlus finishes match my color preferences?”
ColorPlus Technology covers a wide range of the most popular exterior colors. With nearly 700 colors in the palette, it’s easy to find the perfect shade for your home.
We’d love to send over some samples for an in-person experience of color options and textures to ensure you’re making the right choice for your exterior.

“Is Hardie siding eco-friendly?”
Regarding Holeman Inc. — we are a certified ‘Green Builder’, an earth-friendly badge we carry with pride. And while other installers might leave dust everywhere or cover the lawn with nails, we make every step to ensure everything is disposed of properly and kept clean.
Regarding James Hardie —their siding doesn’t produce harmful toxins like vinyl siding does. They practice sustainable manufacturing for siding products that last longer, require less maintenance, and contribute to energy efficiency.
The siding is made of sustainable raw materials, including sand, cellulose fiber, Portland cement, and water (which is recycled up to four times during the manufacturing process).
“How can I order a sample?”
You can order free samples of Hardie products in different textures and colors to review for your siding project. We can’t send over EVERY color in the palette! But we can discuss what colors suit you best and get them to your front-door to check out.

James Hardie provides different products and colors in each region that best suit the area’s climate and color preferences.

“How long does Hardie siding last?”
Hardie siding is built to stand up to the elements: day in, day out, for decades. Hardie siding is water and fire resistant, reducing the impact of pests and moisture, all while cutting out constant repair jobs. The siding products come with a 30-year, non-prorated warranty.
“How weather and climate resistant is fiber-cement siding by James Hardie?”
James Hardie tailors siding and trim products for specific climates, ensuring that every homeowner gets the best performance for their region. They test their products to better withstand worst-case scenarios: fires, flooding, extreme heat, hurricanes, snowstorms, and more.
But it’s not only extremes that break down siding… simply changing seasons does a number on materials like vinyl (which may crack in the cold) and wood siding (which expand and contract with changes in moisture and humidity). But Hardie products are engineered for every climate.
But to make sure every homeowner gets the right siding, they invented the Hardie™ Zone System, to ensure you get the right product for your region. HZ5 products resist shrinking, swelling and cracking even after years of wet or freezing conditions. HZ10 products protect homes from hot, humid conditions, blistering sun and more.
The “Florida-proof” HZ10 siding is designed to perform best in our climate, which is what we use for our builds.
“Is Hardie siding water resistant?”
Hardie products are sealed off in the ColorPlus finishing process. This makes them water resistant, protecting your investment from swelling, warping, and edge checking… which wood and vinyl siding are liable for. Fiber-cement siding is unbeatable in terms of durability in any climate, resisting damage from moisture, rot, and harsh weather.
“Is Hardie siding fire resistant?”
Hardie siding is non-combustible and will not ignite when exposed to a direct flame. Neither will it contribute fuel to a fire.
Hardie siding is recognized by firefighters, and fire departments and has a Class A fire rating.*
Because Hardie products are non-combustible, many insurance companies offer a discount. We recommend sharing fiber-cement siding’s fire-resistant qualities with your insurance carrier.
*Hardie fiber-cement products are noncombustible and/or have a Class A fire rating when tested in accordance with ASTM E84. Fiber-cement fire resistance does not extend to applied paints or coatings, which may be damaged or char when exposed to flames. The use of noncombustible siding, combined with other fire mitigation measures, can help harden a home against external fire.
“Ok, be honest now… what could possibly damage my siding?”
Short of a targeted effort to destroy it… not much. It welcomes 150mph hurricane winds for sustained periods.
Hail wreaks havoc on vinyl siding if it comes at wind-driven angles. Wood siding is a tasty treat for termites and even woodpeckers like to take pokes at wooden exteriors.
But fiber-cement siding is immune to those dangers. It holds up to wind, hail, critters, and even flames. A quick hose down after a storm, and it looks as good as the day you bought it, even after a decade.
“Are financing options available?”
Absolutely!
Click here now to get a quote or call 844-910-0324 and we’ll discuss what financing looks like for you.
That Lasts For Years, Without Endless Repainting or Patching.
